15 Feb 2010 Hokkien New Year Gathering at Tenom

This yearly Chinese New year gathering organised by Persatuan Hokkian Tenom at Dewan Chung Hwa Tenom was attended by more than 200 members and their family members.
Academic awards were given to children of the members who performed well in their school/public exams in the year 2009.

09 Feb 2010 Chinese New Year Hospital Visit

Joint project with Lion Club Tenom Mandarin. Every inpatient received our angpow and a pack of Chinese New Year gift. Of course, we wouldn't forget the dedicated and caring nursing staff by presenting Mandarin oranges to every ward.
Among members participated: PP Anuar, PP Anna, PP Benedict, Ln Chinly, Ln Diana, Ln Chong Lan Sing; FOL Inahwati, FOL Ng Yee Jiun.

 Meeting with the Thalassemia children

09 Feb 2010 fellowship with Thalassema Children.

We took the opportunity to meet up with the Thalassemia children at the day care centre which building was built and funded by LC Tenom in 1996. We presented RM to the Thalassemia Association Tenom and angpows of RM20 to every child. LC Tenom Mandarin also presented CNY gift dset to the children. Our sincere thanks to Mrs Liew for her kind heart and strong support towards the needy children.
